Derrick Wong

General Manager

Derrick started his career with an Engineering Consultant Firm which was primarily involved in the Palm Oil industry. Derrick provided engineering consulting services and project management on various projects such as construction on refineries, palm oil mills and oil tank farms. Derrick subsequently moved to Facilities and Maintenance Management for the Manufacturing sector and extended his experiences to the Commercial and Residential sector as well. He possesses more than 16 years of experience related to the M&E and Facilities Management industry. Derrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Derrick is accountable for achieving Operation Excellence, ensuring World Class standards of service deliveries to the client and driving business growth in the UAE.

Surendran Appadurai

Director of Business Services

Surendran joined Operon Middle East and has been based in Dubai since 2015. He has served non-profit organization’s and for-profit companies in the semiconductor and facilities management industries on areas of quality assurance, product development, manufacturing, compliance, business performance and service operations in Indonesia, Malaysia and more recently in UAE. Prior to moving to UAE, he led the quality assurance and contract management activities at KFM Holdings in Malaysia as its Director of Quality Assurance and Contracts from 2012. Surendran is a Malaysian national. He holds a Masters in Professional Accounting and a BEng (Hons) Engineering in Mechanical and Production Engineering.

Nadir Abdelrahman

Operations Director

Nadir Abdelrahman joined Operon Middle East in 2009. He has wide and exceptional track record in managing large maintenance infrastructure systems for diverse industry setups and residential & commercial buildings, as well as hands on technical expertise in the same. Nadir also has an experience in Project Management. He graduated in Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical system) in 1999

Tenzin Doma

Human Resources Manager

Tenzin Doma joined Operon Middle East in 2014 as a Human Resource Manager and has been based in Dubai. She started her career in 2004 as a Journalist in India. In 2006 she moved to Dubai and joined a Recruitment Company , worked as Recruitment Consultant and moved up to Office Manager position in Appointments FZ LLE in Internet City, Dubai. She is a certified CHRP, CHRM and International Recruitment Specialist from American Certification Institute, Dubai. Tenzin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Delhi University, India.

Ibrahim Moursy

Business Development Director

Ibrahim Moursy has joined Operon Middle East in 2022. He has extensive experience in business development in the FM industry. Ibrahim has a proven record in growing business, driving companies best winning strategies, and designing FM solutions for their organic growth. Ibrahim has also led merge and acquisition deals for non-organic growth with his previous employers. He has worked with large local and multinational companies such as Khidmah, Serco Middle East, AG Facilities and Etisalat FM. Ibrahim holds a master’s in business administration and Bachelor of Arts from Ain Shams university, Egypt

Project Description: 

  • Prepared and submitted to Economic Planning Unit of Malaysia (EPU) the draft structure plan to achieve Putrajaya Green Smart and Connected initiative in 2012. Identified Six Catalyst projects in the context of the Putrajaya Green, Smart and Connected initiative and in support of the LOOP City spatial concept. These projects reflect directly the outcomes of the Sustainable Putrajaya 2025 Structure Plan, the Putrajaya City Forum and the collective urban and spatial analysis for Putrajaya.
